Get ready for something hot and new! I am dabbling into new territory and recreating some of America’s favorites.
The story goes, a wandering husband got his punishment from his wife’s revenge sandwich. She made it as hot as possible to punish him. This started a big trend that caught on quickly in the south. Today’s it is enjoyed by many and is even a vegan option!
How does this compare to your experience? Let me know!
Recipe:
Ingredients:
- I package (3 patties) of Crazy Crispy Chick’n Patties
- 3 hamburger buns
- 6 pickles (2 for each sandwich)
- 3 large leaves of lettuce
- 3 tablespoons ranch dressing
- Hot sauce
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 3/4 tablespoon of cayenne pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 tablespoons honey
Directions for Prepartion:
- Start by mixing ingredients for sauce. Make sure the ghee is liquid when mixing. Add honey last as it will make your sauce sticky and hard to work with. After it is all mixed up, set aside.
- Take your Skinny Butter patties and remove from the freezer. Heat over to 400F. Dip each patty on both sides into sauce. Make sure each patty is covered. Make sure you spread the sticky parts on the patty as well!
- Once oven is ready – place inside for 11 -13 minutes.
- To create the sandwich spread ranch on the bottom bun, add pickles, patty, lettuce, and then top with other bun. Pictures below
