I love to try different sauces with my pasta. It may be a well known sauce or something I made up. This is a spin on a classic that is not necessarily a pasta sauce but here I am – using it that way. What do you think?
Sauce Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of cilantro
- 1 sprig of thai basil
- 1 sprig o mint
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup of red onion
- 1/4 head of broccoli
- 1 green serrano pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon hemp seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon seasame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 1 cup oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of red wine vinegar
- 1 package of fettuccini
Directions:
1) Chop everything finely or blend. No cooking required. It’s only 1 step.
2) When you serve over pasta- mix in 1/2 cup of starchy water. Enjoy!
